Scarborough Canal's are a reasonably sized set of canals on the Redcliffe Peninsula that vary in depth from 2.5 metres at low tide up to 9 metres at high tide. The canals exit into the southern side of deception bay Popular species include Bream, Flathead, Tailor, Snapper and rumours of Mangrove Jack. There are many access points to the canal system from Ashmole Road or Newport Drive
