At 3.96m long this is the flagship paddlecraft for fishing from a Hobie, with the speed of larger kayaks and stability to hold large paddlers ( Maximum capacity 158.76kg ) it tracks well with or without the use of a rudder ( An optional feature ), in 2006 the design was improved allowing greater access to the front hatch as well as easier opening hatch options whilst on the water.
Performance wise the Hobie Quest has a sleek hull shape with a long centre keel area, a decent shoulder provide great secondary stability while riding high enough to maintain good speeds in average conditions, with a width of 0.72m and bare hull weight 25.84kg it is easily loaded, transported and returned to the roofracks on top of your car when travelling alone.
